How will Next-Gen MCAS impact your students this year and into future years? Breakout Sessions Breakout sessions will explore particular issues related to different grade spans around Next-Generation MCAS. Breakout Session 1: Grades 3-5 Mary Lou Beasley, Mathematics Test Developer for Grades 3-5 This sessions will provide an overview of the new test designs for the 2017 Next Generation MCAS. Similarities and differences between the 2016 MCAS tests and Next Generation will be discussed along with calculator restrictions, new item types, and demonstrations of some technology enhanced items. ---------------------------------- Breakout Session 2: Grades 6-8 Simone Johnson, Administrator for Mathematics Test Development
