CALL FOR PROPOSALS

ATMIM Spring Conference 2020

Math Is For ALL, Not Just For SUM!

Conference Date: Friday, March 13, 2020

College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA)

ATMIM is now accepting proposals for presentations at our 2020 Spring Conference. Our keynote speaker will be Marian Dingle; and this year’s theme is inclusion and equity in the math classroom. Please consider sharing your ideas and techniques for helping all students feel like they belong in the math classroom by submitting your speaker proposal form!

The deadline to submit a proposal is December 9th, 2019.

We hope that you will consider presenting at the conference!  As teachers, we learn best when we learn from each other. Encourage your colleagues to present with you. It's a wonderful experience that enhances the learning of all students in Massachusetts! We consider all proposals, whether you are a novice or an expert at presenting, and we are here to support you.  You should plan on presenting for 45 - 60 minutes with time for questions and answers built into your presentation. You must indicate to which grade level your presentation is best suited and write a short and inviting summary in order for us to determine if it’s a good fit for our theme this year.

Thank you for your contributions toward making this a successful and engaging conference.

If you have any questions, please email the Spring Conference co-chairs Jason Hardin (jhardin@worcester.edu) or Jeanette Hogan (jmhogan16@gmail.com).
