On occasion, I find that I need a jolt of inspiration to get me through the day. I have found the Ignite videos, presented by The Math Forum, always hit the spot. Each Ignite video is a 5-minute long presentation by a math educator on what inspires them. The speakers are kept on a brisk pace by the accompanying slideshow of exactly 20 slides that auto advance every 15 seconds, whether the presenter is ready or not!
The next time you need a pick-me-up in the middle of the school day, grab a cup of coffee, cue up an Ignite clip, and get inspired by the contagious passion of fellow math educators!
