Students can now apply to one of the ATMIM scholarships described below by completing this Google Form.
Applications are due by March 1, 2024, with notifications by May 1, 2024
The Steve Yurek award is given to a senior at a vocational, technical, or agricultural high school for their creativity and problem solving in mathematics. Steve Yurek is a MA Math Hall of Fame Member; MTEL Math Analyst at Lesley University; and ATMIM Treasurer.
The Anne Elliot Smith Award is presented to students who are willing to share their mathematical passion with others. This could be tutoring, involvement in math team, support in elementary schools, counselor at STEM camp, volunteer work, etc.
The J. Bryan Sullivan Award is for a student planning to continue to study mathematics after high school. J. Bryan was a teacher and math coach at Hudson High School, past president of both the Atlantic Regions Math League and ATMIM, and organizer of mathematics conferences at the local, state, and national levels.
